Excellent Photographer
When the Distinguished Photographer has earned 15 merit points, they will be included in the category of Excellent Photographers. They will also have even better positioning on the website and be included in the gallery for this category. They may also choose to be judges for the contests if they are required to do so by WEP.
Master Photographer
Excellent Photographers who have earned 25 merit points will be included in the category of Master Photographers. They will also have the best possible positioning on the website and be included in the gallery for this category. They may also choose to be judges for the contests if they are required to do so by WEP.
Photographers who reach this category will earn free, lifetime WEP membership.

Awards from other organisations (recognised by WEP): 0,50 merit points

Recommendation of new members: 0,50 merit points
Renewal of annual membership: 1 merit point
Best Photographer of the Year Award: 4 merit points
Best Wedding Album Award: 3 merit points

Best Photographer of the Year
At the beginning of each year, WEP will select on of its members as “Best Photographer of the Year”. The criteria will be the technical, artistic, and emotive aspects of their work, as well as their merit points acquired, active participation in contests, and awards won through other organisations.
The winner will receive a diploma, a trophy and will earn 4 merit points.
Best Wedding Album
WEP will open the contest for “Best Wedding Album” once a year – on a date chosen so as not to overlap with other contests or awards. The winner will receive a diploma, a trophy and will earn 3 merit points
