Participants may submit up to 3 images which should be: JPG/JPEG format, 8 bits, 1500 pixels maximum width/length, 72 ppi, not larger than 500KB, and RGB or sRGB colour. Logos, names or brands which identify the photographer must not be shown.
Files should be named “photographer’s name + underscore + surname + underscore + number”. Eg: Martin_Shay_01.
Winners will be chosen by photographers from the WEP team. Winning entries will be selected depending on number of participants, images submitted, quality, creativity, originality and especially technical and emotive aspects. WEP reserves the right to discard entries which do not meet these criteria.
Each winning photo is awarded a silver badge, representing a high standard of professionalism. Photographers who win more than one prize, are awarded a gold badge. Winners will receive trophies at the postal address provided.
Winners receive a diploma including details of their entry and their personal information.
Winners will be notified by email within 10 days after the competition deadline and they will be announced on www.worldelitephotographers.com.
Participants should have the expressed consent and image rights of any people who appear in their photographs. WEP accepts no liability and contestants are fully responsible for any infringements.
WEP reserves the right to use the photographs in any publicity or advertising campaign, always acknowledging the photographer and preserving image rights.
WEP reserves the right to publish an album/book with the winners of each edition.
Participants are to unconditionally abide by these rules, and accept the judges’ decisions regarding their interpretation and application.
