Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information World Elite Photographers (“we”, “us”, “the site”) collects from visitors, how it is used, and the choices you have. We try to keep this short and readable instead of hiding behind legalese.
1. Who we are
World Elite Photographers is an independent publication about photography gear, tutorials, cybersecurity for photographers, and digital imaging news. The site is published at https://worldelitephotographers.com/. You can reach us at [email protected].
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. If you leave a comment, send an email, or sign up for a newsletter, we receive whatever you provide — typically a name and email address, plus the content of your message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server logs include your IP address, browser user agent, referring URL, and the pages you visit. These logs help us debug problems and detect abuse.
Cookies. If you leave a comment, WordPress may store your name, email, and website in cookies for your convenience so you do not have to re-enter them. Login and screen-display cookies are set for site administrators only.
3. How we use information
- To publish and moderate comments you submit.
- To respond to messages you send us.
- To keep the site secure and detect spam or abuse.
- To understand which articles are useful so we can write more of what readers value.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not run behavioral advertising networks on this site.
4. Embedded content and third-party services
Articles may include embedded content (videos, social posts, image galleries) from other sites. Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited that other site, including any cookies or tracking it uses. We may also use Gravatar to display profile images for commenters; the Gravatar privacy policy is available at automattic.com/privacy.
5. How long we keep your data
Approved comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely so follow-up comments from the same person can be approved automatically. Server logs are rotated and deleted within 30 days unless needed for a security investigation.
6. Your rights
If you live in the EU, UK, or another region with similar data protection laws, you have the right to request a copy of any personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] with your request and we will respond within 30 days.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect the site, but no website is perfectly secure. If you discover a vulnerability, please report it responsibly to [email protected].
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of the page will always reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced in a published post.
9. Contact
